- five second test
- a form of usability test where the user is shown a web page for 5 seconds and then asked questions to determine the clarity of the website.

- Guerrilla User Testing
- According to Martin Belam, "Guerrilla usability test is “the art of pouncing on lone people in cafes and public spaces, quickly filming them whilst they use a website for a couple of minutes.”

- Iterative design
- the process of repeatedly redesigning a product based on user feedback.

- Needfinding
- A process of determining what a user actually needs a product to do. This information can be found using questionnaires (explicitly determined) or through usability testing (implicitly determined).

- Prototype
- A mock up of a product that evolves closer to the actual product over time(low fidelity, mid fidelity and high fidelity). Used to test out a product.

- User experience design
- the process of creating content that is simple, intuitive, and engaging.
- User profiles
- A way to remove your personal bias from a project. User profiles generate a pretend user base that can be designed for before the product is brought into user testing.
- Usability tests
- Used to assess the strengths and weaknesses in a product design.
- Usability
- How easy it is for a user to navigate and engage with a product.

- A form of prototyping that is a rough layout of a product, usually done with pen or pencil, or in a wireframe software.
